On August 19, 2026, Merck and Moderna announced positive topline results from the Phase 3 INTerpath-001 trial. The study evaluated Intismeran Autogene, an investigational individualized mRNA-based neoantigen therapy, together with KEYTRUDA in patients with completely resected Stage IIBβIV melanoma.
The trial met its primary endpoint of recurrence-free survival and a key secondary endpoint of distant metastasis-free survival.
